HighLight Studio with Ashley Shelton
my favorite camera hit 500k actuations during this shoot!
This week, I have for y’all a quick portrait session I shot with my good friend, Ashley Shelton of 12:12 Pictures at the HighLight Studio in Knoxville, Tennessee. HihLight was a wonderful environment to work in with plenty of extra studio gear to cover much more than what we had in mind. While I was poking around I saw some nice constant lights, a ton of backdrop rolls, reflectors, ladders, grip gear, nearly anything a studio photographer could want!
Ashley and I wanted to keep things simple, so we went with the clean white wall with no reflector, and despite it being kind of dreary outside, shooting next to the window provided us with plenty of soft, beautiful light.
For my set up, all the photos here were shot with a Canon 5D (2005) and the Yongnuo 50mm f/1.4 lens with a 20% Cinebloom filter attached.
Well, that’s it for this week! I hope you enjoyed the photos! If you’re looking for found media, please check out my page on Archive.org for the full list of digitized media.
