It’s Christmas in July this week on the blog, and I’ve got a giant pile of tapes for y’all! We’re starting off with some festive karaoke and a behind-the-scenes look at Christmas at “America’s largest home”. We’ll take a trip to Niagara Falls after that to look at both the summer and winter seasons there and on our way back we’ll stop at the Wendell August Gift Shoppe in Pennsylvania. We’ll check out the Berkshire Choral Festival and learn a lot about airplanes after that. Lastly, we will get our monthly dose of abstinence-only sexual education and take a tour on the Norwegian Coast.
Lately, the tape hunting has been incredible for both archival candidates, as well as finding grail-level movies to watch in my leisure time. I’d though that the real peak of finding cheap VHS’s in thrift stores had past us already, but recently I’ve found a ton of movies I’ve been looking for and a lot of unique and interesting finds to post here.
UFO’s, horse hitching, dance instructionals, RVing hobby tapes, nightmare fuel phonics edutainment, live Monty Python bootlegs, astronomy tapes… lately I’ve found it all! While I’m content to watch travel documentaries all the time, the variety of what I’ve been able to pick up has been wonderful, and in the coming months, I will be bringing you a whole host of new content. So, please stay tuned! For now, though, let’s get right into the tapes!
